Privacy Policy
What Roomkit collects, why, and what we will never do with it. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

What we collect
Your email address, and a display name if you set one. The display name is shown publicly on rooms you create; your email never is.
The playlists you link and the images you upload, so we can build and serve your station.
Payment records: what you bought and when. Card details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
A count of how many people are connected to a station at a given moment. We do not store who they are, and listeners are not required to have an account.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
We do not track visitors across other websites, and we set no advertising cookies.
We do not read or store the contents of your Google or Spotify account beyond what you explicitly link.
Third parties involved
YouTube: stations play music through YouTube's embedded player. When a station plays, YouTube receives the request directly from your browser and its own privacy policy applies (policies.google.com/privacy).
Apple iTunes Search API: used to look up song titles and artwork. We send it a search phrase, not anything about you.
Razorpay: processes payments and receives the details necessary to do so.
Our servers, located in India, store everything described above.
Cookies and local storage
We store a session token in your browser so you stay signed in, and your sound/haptics preference so we do not have to ask twice. Both are functional, not analytical.

Your choices
Ask us to export or delete your account and everything attached to it by writing to sunmadhav4321@gmail.com. We will action deletion within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your stations; already-expired stations are removed with it.
